Plamar is proud to provide its customers with a wide variety of “green” and eco-friendly slab materials made with recycled glass, porcelain, metal, paper and/or plastic.

Recycled materials comprise more than half of most “green” materials, which are typically bound together with concrete or special resins. Depending upon the project, use of these materials may enable the customer to gain points towards LEED Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Some companies/brands, including Alkemi, ECO by Cosentino, IceStone, PaperStone, Richlite and Vetrazzo focus entirely on “green” products, while Caesarstone and Corian offer products with recycled content as additional options in a broader product line.
